This offbeat sci-fi drama, which ran on NBC from 1989 to 1993, starred Scott Bakula as Dr. Sam Beckett, a physicist whose time-travel experiment goes awry, sending him back and forth in the past and into other's people's bodies, where Sam and holographic sidekick Al (Dean Stockwell) must try and change people's lives for the better.
